Elizabeth Wetzel is a member of the Breakbulk content team and organizes the Breakbulk Educational programs. She is Program Manager for Breakbulk Education Day, which introduces university students to the industry and coordinates the Educational offerings for Breakbulk attendees. Wetzel has spent her entire 38 year experience working with logistics supply chains, procurement processes and international transportation in the global shipping industry. She was an adjunct professor at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy for seven years, teaching logistics and marine transportation majors. Wetzel was also managing director of the Center for Logistics and Transportation Policy at University of Houston for three years. Wetzel resides in the Houston area, the epicenter of U.S.-based breakbulk and project cargo activity.
